About The Position
Metro Physical Therapy is looking for an experienced Exercise Instructor to work with us in a per diem capacity starting as soon as possible. You will be working with active older adults in a group fitness setting within our partnered Assisted Living Facility in Smithtown. This is a 1099 independent contractor role, making it a great option for someone looking to earn some extra income while gaining experience!
Requirements
- CPR/AED certification
- Liability insurance
- Previous experience as a group fitness instructor.
- Comfortable leading and motivating a group.
- Enjoys working with seniors.
Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate a group of active older adults in a group fitness setting.
- Conduct 2 Monday morning classes and 1 Thursday morning class.
- Assist or find appropriate assistance to make accommodations for disabled individuals in order to ensure access to the company’s services.
