Requirements

• Compliance with Westminster rules, policies, standards, and guidelines.
• Ability to carry out delegated fitness duties under supervision.
• Ability to implement cost control measures and meet budget goals.
• Ability to inspect and verify fitness equipment is operating optimally.
• Ability to ensure residents/employees are properly operating fitness equipment.
• Ability to conduct fitness classes according to schedule.
• Ability to assist with the preparation of Fitness Classes and seminars.
• Ability to provide personal training class instruction, including Balance and Core individual training.
• Proficiency in entering monthly fitness data and membership information into the fitness system.
• Ability to assist with Senior Fitness Testing and completion of Physician Consent.
• Ability to assist with the implementation of local Wellness Programs.

Responsibilities

• Assists in fitness duties by carrying out delegated, selected, duties under the supervision of the Fitness Coordinator.
• Responsible for the strategic planning and operations of the Wellness Dept by implementing cost control measures and meeting budget goals.
• Inspect and verify that fitness equipment is operating in optimal conditions and that residents/employees are properly operating the fitness equipment.
• Conduct fitness classes following the schedule established by the Fitness Coordinator.
• Assist with the preparation of Fitness Classes and seminars.
• Personal training class instruction based on schedule. Includes Balance and Core individual training.
• Enter monthly fitness data and membership information into the fitness system.
• Assist with the Senior Fitness Testing and the completion of Physician Consent.
• Assist with the implementation of local Wellness Programs for the community.
