The Group Fitness Instructor provides cutting-edge group fitness instruction through a variety of entertaining, educational, and fun classes promoting fitness and positive self-esteem in a safe environment. They act as a fitness resource for class participants and maintain positive relationships with members to encourage continued class attendance. The Group Fitness Instructor is responsible for consistently meeting daily class attendance goals as well as effectively promoting Life Time programs, products, and services. As a Group Fitness Instructor at Life Time, you have the opportunity to instruct a variety of group fitness formats. These include STRENGTH classes like LIFT (build muscle strength with music), SHRED (full body strength and endurance circuits), and MAXOUT (strength and conditioning with heavier weights and supersets). CARDIO classes include XTREME (High Intensity Interval Training) and REMIXX (high energy cardio with music). BOXING/KICKBOXING offers STRIKE classes for precision and passion. BARRE classes like LIFE BARRE are rooted in ballet for strength and grace. CYCLE classes include AMP (rhythm-based immersive experience), EDG (music, metrics, and technology fusion), and PWR (athletic endurance). DANZE classes celebrate diversity in dance from Hip Hop to Latin Fusion. YOGA offers SURRENDER YIN (slow, meditative), ROOT HATHA (radical self-acceptance and muscle engagement), and FLOW VINYASA (breath-centered flow). ARORA classes provide comprehensively programmed options for healthy aging and active lifestyles, from AQUA to DANZE, GENTLE YOGA to TOTAL BODY. SGT (Small Group Training) includes GTX (50/50 cardio & strength) and ULTRA FIT (treadmill sprints and strength/balance movements). ALPHA offers competitive grit, full-body strength and conditioning programs.
