Group Fitness Instructor
About The Position
Responsible for teaching group fitness classes at specified Elevation locations in the Estero, FL area as well as being available to provide front desk and group fitness class coverage on an as needed basis (on call). Location: 18701 WildBlue Blvd. Fort Myers, FL 33913 Group Fitness Classes DETAILS ABOUT THE CLASS START DATE - May 2026 RATE - $50 per class DAYS AND TIMES OF CLASS - Mornings (8-11a)and weekend availability preferred TYPE OF CLASS(ES) - Aqua, Cycle, Strength ANY ADDITIONAL INFO NEEDED Fee-Based Services Option to provide fee-based services at any of the above Elevation locations as well as virtually so there is potential to earn additional income. Must hold nationally recognized and Elevation approved certifications. This position provides safe, motivating, and effective individual and group exercise instruction with excellent customer service skills, strong communication skills, and the ability to motivate others in person and virtually. Provides up-to-date quality training and high energy motivation to members and participants in order to maximize participation, outcomes, and customer satisfaction. Responsible for communicating and upholding company standards.
Requirements
- Current CPR/AED certification - required
- Experience teaching group exercise classes (strength, bootcamp, HIIT) - required
- Personal training certification - required
- Covid Vaccine - required at some locations
Nice To Haves
- BS in Exercise Science or related field - preferred
- Specialty group fitness class certifications - preferred
