The Group Fitness Instructor is responsible for providing a high quality, engaging and motivating experience, that includes safe, inclusive and enjoyable instruction and leadership for participants in all Group classes. This role involves providing instruction that embodies the essence of the programming assigned and meets GoodLife’s standard of delivery, aiming to sustain and/or increase class participation. The instructor promotes and supports all Group Experience programming by encouraging continued participation in their classes and other classes on the schedule to increase Member engagement and adherence. They also share guidance, recommendations, and information about all Club services, staying informed to speak to during classes. The instructor follows all class operating procedures, encourages Members to book their next class, sources/downloads class music, learns new release material and scripting, and reviews workout plans prior to class for smooth delivery. They stay updated with education or programming changes and informed about Club-relative information to promote to Members. The instructor is expected to arrive on time for classes and provide feedback to the General Manager regarding schedules, studios, classes, etc., seeking ways to ensure positive Member experiences and participation.
