About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Group Facilitator to join our outpatient team on a part-time contract basis. This role is specifically designed to provide high-quality clinical coverage for our Saturday sessions, ensuring our clients receive consistent support and evidence-based interventions during the weekend.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Minimum of 2-5 years of experience working in an SUD or behavioral health setting.
• Strong group management skills, deep understanding of the 12-step model and alternative recovery paths, and proficiency in Electronic Health Records (EHR).
• Ability to establish rapid rapport and maintain a therapeutic climate of safety, trust, and positive regard.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for both client interaction and clinical documentation.
• Skilled in recognizing and managing conflict within therapeutic group settings.

Nice To Haves

• Active state certification or licensure (e.g., CADC, LADC, LCSW, LPC) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead psychoeducational and process groups for individuals in various stages of recovery from Substance Use Disorders.
• Utilize evidence-based practices such as CBT, DBT, and Motivational Interviewing to foster a supportive and therapeutic environment.
• Complete timely and accurate clinical progress notes in compliance with state regulations and program standards.
• Provide immediate support and de-escalation for clients in distress.
