About The Position

This role involves facilitating a manualized 26-week program for adult men convicted of a domestic violence offense. The program focuses on educating offenders about the impact of violence in various relationships and teaching them skills to manage stress and emotions productively. The Group Facilitator will deliver the educational program in a group format, provide case formulation related to client treatment readiness and developmental level, and use supervision to improve treatment services. Maintaining documentation in compliance with agency and program standards is also a key responsibility.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required.
Experience with content area: eg. Substance abuse, domestic violence.
Experience with groups or education setting.
Training in content area of group.

Masters preferred.

Responsibilities

Attends trainings as assigned and required.
Deliver educational program in a group format.
Provide case formulation related to client’s treatment readiness or developmental level and problem identification.
Uses supervision/consultation to learn and provide more effective treatment services.
Must attend supervision as assigned for program.
Maintain documentation in compliance with agency and program standards.
Participates in staff meetings, supervision, trainings and other meetings as assigned.
Additional duties as required.
