About The Position
In search of Part-time Group Exercise Instructors for a Step and/or Pilates class at the Lake Community YMCA. This role involves teaching weekday morning classes.
Requirements
- Dynamic individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Certification from nationally-recognized fitness accreditation agency
Nice To Haves
- CPR and AED certification
- Able to teach multiple formats
Responsibilities
- Meet and greet the members with enthusiasm
- Design class format appropriate for type of class and participants
- Serve as a good role model
- Communicate with team members
- Address difficult situations by using the YMCA Character Values as a guide
