About The Position

The Program Instructor II is responsible for providing quality leadership and supervision in group exercise classes while maintaining a safe, non-competitive environment for YMCA members. The position is under the direction and supervision of the Program Director. The role is located at the Avondale YMCA in Indianapolis, Indiana, and is part-time.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to successfully demonstrate group exercise curriculum.

Nice To Haves

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Experience in coaching or leading structured programs is preferred.
• Knowledge of basic exercise science and fitness leadership is preferred.
