About The Position

The Westfield Area YMCA is seeking an experienced, energetic, certified Group Exercise Instructor to teach Cycling classes. The instructor teaches in a fun and safe environment, serves as a fitness resource for class participants, builds positive relationships with members to encourage continued class attendance, and promotes membership retention and YMCA programs. Multiple certifications are a plus.

This is a part-time position for Thursday evenings and/or Saturday mornings. The pay range is $25.00–$28.00 per hour, based on years of related experience.

Requirements

• Current certifications from a nationally recognized institution.
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications before starting work; on-site trainings are offered.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as a group fitness instructor is preferred.
• Multiple certifications are a plus.
