About The Position
The Wayman Palmer YMCA is seeking a Part-Time Group Exercise Instructor to lead energizing exercise classes. This role offers the opportunity to help participants achieve their health goals and will be paid a competitive rate of $15-$20 per class. The YMCA is specifically looking for someone to teach Silver Sneakers (Older Adult) Cardio Drumming and will train the right person. This position is ideal for a fitness enthusiast who wants to make a real impact on people's lives in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Requirements
- Solid foundation in physical fitness, exercise science, and various exercise techniques.
- Strong group leadership skills.
- Experience in the specific fitness program you'll be teaching (Silver Sneakers/Older Adult Cardio Drumming).
- Current certification or willingness to obtain one through training.
