About The Position

The Group Exercise Instructor is responsible for the delivery of GHFC customer service, safety and productivity standards for the group exercise programs. As a High Reliability Organization (HRO), responsibilities require focus on safety, quality and efficiency in performing job duties. Requirements

  • High School or GED (Required)
  • BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association
  • Credentials specific for area of group exercise specialty.
  • HR and RPE assessment.
  • Anatomy, special needs of participants, in particular knowledge regarding adult exercise and special populations.
  • One year experience.

  • Communicates effective by 1) keeping the Team Leader/Supervisor/Manager informed of current activities affecting the Center; 2) maintaining clear lines of authority; 3) obtaining the appropriate approval for program changes; 4) coordinating schedules with other teams.
  • Focus on safety, quality and efficiency in performing job duties.
