Group Events Assistant
About The Position
The Group Events Assistant provides pivotal support to the Group Events team with the execution of game night functions (before, during and after all home games). This will be a seasonal part-time role, through the season and potential playoffs. The role involves assisting with the fulfillment of all Group Events fan experiences at Timberwolves home games, staffing the Group Zone and Redemption Zone booths, and assisting with the implementation of single-game group ticket promotions and redemptions. The position requires interacting with fans, fielding questions, and providing excellent customer service, as well as supporting other initiatives and promotions in the office as needed.
Requirements
- Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
- Computer skills required: experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook).
- Ability to manage specific tasks in the department under supervision.
- Ability to work well on a team and independently.
- Able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
Nice To Haves
- Previous customer service or sales experience is preferred.
Responsibilities

Benefits
- Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour.
