About The Position

Walmart is seeking a Group Director of Product Management to lead the strategy and delivery of enterprise platforms that power the full associate lifecycle—from hiring and onboarding to development, performance, and internal mobility. This role will advance our people-led ambition by building intuitive, AI-powered experiences that attract top talent, unlock growth opportunities for associates, and enable leaders to make better, data-driven talent decisions. Central to this work is the development of a unified associate profile and talent discovery ecosystem that provides a comprehensive, real-time view of our workforce. This leader will oversee a portfolio of products spanning associate careers, frontline and campus hiring, international talent platforms, and core HR experiences, ensuring they come together into a seamless, consumer-grade experience. You will drive the transformation of hiring across markets by standardizing and automating workflows, modernizing recruiter and hiring manager tools, and enabling scalable, compliant solutions globally. In parallel, you will elevate internal mobility and career growth by delivering personalized, skills-based experiences that connect associates to opportunities across the enterprise. As a senior product leader, you will build and lead high-performing teams, partnering closely with Engineering, Design, People, and Business leaders to deliver at global scale. You will define the product vision, drive execution across a complex ecosystem, and ensure alignment to Walmart’s strategic priorities. This role requires a balance of deep product expertise, platform thinking, and a strong commitment to improving the everyday experience of millions of associates.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of product management experience, including leadership of leaders in large-scale, complex organizations
  • Proven track record building and scaling enterprise platforms, ideally in HR tech, talent, or marketplace ecosystems
  • Experience delivering AI/ML-powered product capabilities such as personalization, search, or workflow automation
  • Demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional alignment across Product, Engineering, Design, and business stakeholders
  • Experience operating in global environments with an understanding of regional and regulatory considerations
  • Strong product strategy, execution, and organizational leadership skills
  • Ability to translate complex problems into simple, intuitive user experiences
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred)
  • Option 1: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related area and 15 years’ experience in product management.
  • Option 2: 17 years’ experience in product management or related area.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration or related area and 14 years’ experience as a product manager, ideally working on consumer-facing, large-scale, highly complex B2B/C products
  • Supervisory experience
  • Background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.
  • Knowledge of accessibility best practices and joining Walmart in creating accessible products and services following Walmart’s accessibility standards and guidelines for supporting an inclusive culture.
