About The Position

Walmart is looking for a Group Director of Product Management to lead the products that determine how inventory is forecasted, positioned, replenished, and moved across one of the world's largest supply chain networks. This is a senior product leadership role at the intersection of supply chain, operations research, data science, AI, and product management. You'll set the multi-year strategy for forecasting and inventory flow and lead an organization of approximately 70 associates. We're looking for a leader who deeply understands how inventory moves through complex, multi-echelon supply chain networks and can translate that complexity into scalable products and decision systems. You may have built these products, operated the underlying supply chain capabilities, or done both.

Requirements

  • Deep expertise in supply chain networks and inventory movement, including forecasting, replenishment, inventory optimization, allocation, network flow, or fulfillment.
  • Strong fluency in operations research, data science, optimization, forecasting, and AI/ML.
  • Experience building supply chain products and/or operating the capabilities those products support.
  • Experience leading complex product portfolios and senior leaders at significant scale.
  • Exceptional executive presence, communication, and influence.
  • Ability to translate highly technical and operational problems into clear product strategies and measurable business outcomes.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related area and 15 years’ experience in product management.
  • 17 years’ experience in product management or related area.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration or related area and 14 years’ experience as a product manager, ideally working on consumer-facing, large-scale, highly complex B2B/C products
  • Supervisory experience
  • Background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.

Responsibilities

  • Own the product vision and multi-year strategy for forecasting, inventory, replenishment, and flow.
  • Apply operations research, optimization, data science, and AI to some of Walmart's most complex supply chain decisions.
  • Lead a large portfolio of interconnected products from strategy and discovery through enterprise-scale deployment.
  • Connect sophisticated models and technology with the realities and constraints of the physical supply chain.
  • Align senior executives across Product, Technology, Supply Chain, Operations, Merchandising, Finance, and Data Science on investments and tradeoffs.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing organization of approximately 70 product associates and senior product leaders.
