About The Position

The Group Director, Fashion Design- Kids, Baby, Infant, Toddler (KBIT) leads the development and execution of innovative, trend-driven design strategies that align with brand vision and market demands. This role oversees seasonal collections, ensuring high-quality product narratives and prototypes that resonate with customers while advancing industry standards. By integrating market insights, technology, and cross-functional collaboration, the director drives design excellence, operational efficiency, and brand consistency across multiple product channels. Requirements

  • Extensive expertise in fashion design principles, including visual communication, sketching, illustration, and fit concepts.
  • Strong knowledge of color theory, print execution, fabric selection, and prototype development processes.
  • Proven ability to set brand vision and lead seasonal design concepts aligned with business objectives.
  • Experience driving innovation in materials and design fit strategies across multiple brands and categories.
  • Proficiency with design enablement tools such as PLM, CAD, 3D modeling, and AI-enhanced systems.
  • Skilled in integrating market trends, customer insights, into commercially viable product strategies.
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing cross-functional teams and advancing design operations through process improvements.
  • Ability to influence senior leadership and external partners with compelling product narratives.
  • Bachelor’s degree in fashion design, textile design, or related area and 13 years’ experience in apparel design, garment construction, or related area.
  • 15 years’ experience in apparel design, garment construction, or related area.
  • 10 years’ supervisory experience.
