About The Position

DHL Supply Chain is hiring a Group Coordinator Lead for their second shift (Monday - Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM). This role is responsible for leading and supporting training and development programs, designing and delivering training presentations, and maintaining training programs for WMS-related processes and warehouse operations. The Group Coordinator Lead will also train on site Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and customer-facing process documentation, prepare work instructions, conduct new-hire and cross-training, evaluate training effectiveness, and partner with operations leadership on safety, quality, and productivity standards. This position serves as a subject matter expert on warehouse processes, MHE operations, and WMS functionality, providing ongoing coaching and support to associates. Additionally, the role involves assigning work schedules, monitoring associate progress, providing day-to-day direction and guidance to the work group, and managing daily workloads. The role reports directly to the Supervisor.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 6 month’s experience operating stand-up material handling equipment is required.
  • 6-12 months warehouse experience
  • 6-12 months forklift operation experience

Nice To Haves

  • Experience operating other material handling equipment such as Order (Cherry) Picker, Sit-down, Clamp, Electric Pallet Jack is also a plus.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred
  • Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment, preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support site in the execution of training and development programs.
  • Design, develop, and deliver engaging classroom and operational training presentations.
  • Maintain training programs for WMS-related processes and warehouse operations.
  • Train on site Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and customer-facing process documentation.
  • Prepare detailed work instructions for operational functions and system processes.
  • Conduct new-hire training, onboarding, and cross-training for associates and temporary staff.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Partner with operations leadership to ensure employees are trained on safety, quality, and productivity standards.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on warehouse processes, MHE operations, and WMS functionality.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and support to associates to improve performance and operational compliance.
  • Assist leadership with special projects and additional operational responsibilities as assigned.
  • Assign work schedules.
  • Monitor associate progress for the work group they are directing.
  • Provide day-to-day direction and guidance to work group.
  • Responsible for daily workloads.
  • Conduct training for new associates.
  • Maintain legible and accurate records or logs.
  • Review documents prepared by members of the work group for accuracy and legibility.
  • Monitor performance of associates within the work group.
  • Open and/or close and secure the building as directed.
  • Report unsafe conditions to supervisor if they cannot be self-corrected.
  • Communicate work practices, procedures, and methods to associates.
