Position: Group Coordinator Lead (CAN) Shift: Tuesday –; Saturday 6am –; 2pm Pay:23.50 per hour Additional Incentives:Plus a $1.00 team lead premium Role Purpose: Responsible for assigning work schedules, training associates and monitoring associate progress for the work group they are directing. Provides day-to-day direction and guidance to work group. Responsible for daily workloads. Key Accountabilities: Conduct training for new associates. Maintain legible and accurate records or logs. Review documents prepared by members of the work group for accuracy and legibility. Monitor performance of associates within the work group. Open and/or close and secure the building as directed. Report unsafe conditions to supervisor if they cannot be self-corrected. Communicate work practices, procedures, and methods to associates. Our Organization is an equal opportunity employer. Requirements

  • Ability to handle up to 50 lbs.
  • Good organizational and communication skills
  • Common sense and ability to see the bigger picture (process orientation)
  • 6-12 months warehouse experience
  • 6-12 months forklift operation experience

Nice To Haves

  • Working experience in Blue Yonder /SAP preferred
  • Willingness to work overtime when required meeting business needs
  • MHE Certification (Center Rider, Standup/Sit down Counterbalance)
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred
  • Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment, preferr

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and supervise the shipping, receiving, picking, and storage activities on the shift in a manner consistent with company service and cost objectives.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all associates.
  • Ensure adherence to company policy and procedure.
  • Conduct operations in a manner that promotes the safety, security and cleanliness of the facility.
  • Complete all necessary records and reports in a timely and accurate fashion.
  • Receiving, loading, put-away, replenishing and order picking.
  • Perform other duties assigned by management.
  • Open and or close & secure the building as directed.
  • Conduct training for new associates.
  • Maintain legible and accurate records or logs.
  • Review documents prepared by members of the work group for accuracy and legibility.
  • Monitor performance of associates within the work group.
