About The Position

Responsible for assigning work schedules, training associates and monitoring associate progress for the work group they are directing. Provides day-to-day direction and guidance to work group. Responsible for daily workloads. This role is for the Second (2nd) Shift, which runs from 2:15pm – 10:30pm, Monday-Friday. Overtime is based on business needs. The pay is $22.00 per hour plus a $0.75 per hour shift differential.

Requirements

• 1 year MINIMUM experience safely operating an Order Picker, Reach Truck and Dock Stocker
• 6-12 months warehouse experience
• 6-12 months forklift operation experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred
• Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment, preferred

Nice To Haves

• At least 6 month’s experience with a WMS (Warehouse Management System) or similar systems such as JDA, Red Prairie, Blue Yonder, SAP, etc.
• Bilingual in English & Spanish

• Reviewing documents prepared by members of the work group for accuracy and legibility

• Opening and/or closing and securing the building as directed
• Reporting unsafe conditions to supervisor if they cannot be self-corrected
• Communicating work practices, procedures, and methods to associates
