About The Position

DHL Supply Chain is hiring a Group Coordinator Lead for their 2nd Shift (Monday-Friday, 3:00pm-11:00pm). This role involves providing day-to-day direction and guidance to a work group, maintaining records, processing data in Manhattan to review inbound/outbound materials and yard status, and supporting the group as needed. The ideal candidate will have experience in Production, Warehouse, and General Labor, be bilingual in Spanish and English, possess 3 years of stand-up forklift experience, and 2+ years of leadership experience. Requirements

• Bi-Lingual - Spanish and English - REQUIRED
• 3 years on Stand up forklift
• 2 years or more leadership experience leading a small or large group
• 6-12 months warehouse experience
• 6-12 months forklift operation experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day direction and guidance to work group
• Maintain legible records or logs
• Perform data processing in Manhattan to review the status of inbound/outbound materials scheduled to arrive daily and review what is currently in the yard
• Support the group as needed
• Assign work schedules
• Train associates
• Monitor associate progress for the work group
• Manage daily workloads
• Conduct training for new associates
• Review documents prepared by members of the work group for accuracy and legibility
• Monitor performance of associates within the work group
• Open and/or close and secure the building as directed
• Report unsafe conditions to supervisor if they cannot be self-corrected
• Communicate work practices, procedures, and methods to associates
