About The Position

DHL Supply Chain is hiring a Group Coordinator Lead - Inventory Control Clerk for its first shift. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate inventory by verifying all orders received and shipped. The position involves assigning work schedules, training associates, monitoring their progress, and ensuring the highest customer standards are met. The ideal candidate will be able to manage timelines, productivity expectations, and lift up to 50 lbs. DHL Supply Chain has been certified as a Great Place to Work® in the US and Canada.

Requirements

  • Experience operating Stand Up, Order Picker, Sit Down, Reach Truck, Dock Stocker is required.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in cycle counting, reporting inventory discrepancies, and monitoring inventory levels.
  • Assisting with reporting/clean up of damages and verifying over/short inbounds.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • 6 months warehousing and inventory experience.
  • Working knowledge of SAP inventory system.
  • Must be able to manage timelines and productivity expectations.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience operating Order Picker, Sit Down, Reach Truck, Dock Stocker is required.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in cycle counting, reporting inventory discrepancies, and monitoring inventory levels.
  • Assist with reporting/clean up of damages and verifying over/short inbounds.
  • Report directly to Inventory Manager.
  • Assist with the Shift Supervisors with monitoring production, training to the associates and giving constructive feedback and to ensure highest customer standards are met.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate inventory by verifying all orders received and shipped.
  • Assign work schedules.
  • Train associates in processes and monitor their progress.
  • Perform the duties of an inventory control clerk.
  • Conduct training for new associates.
  • Assist in physical inventories.
  • Monitor performance of associates within the work group.
  • Report unsafe conditions to supervisor if they cannot be self-corrected.
  • Communicate work practices, procedures, and methods to associates as required.
  • Ensure accurate accounting of and disposition of all defective or damaged product.
  • Assist with the Shift Supervisors with monitoring production.
  • Give constructive feedback to associates.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
