About The Position

Matrix New World Engineering, part of True Environmental and its partner firms, is seeking a Groundwater Modeler / Hydrogeologist for its Arizona Water Services group. The position is full-time and based in Phoenix, Arizona, with flexibility to work from the Phoenix office or remotely. The role participates in groundwater flow and contaminant transport modeling and supports hydrogeologic investigations for water resources and environmental consulting projects, under the direction of senior technical staff. The successful candidate will build, calibrate, and apply numerical groundwater flow and solute transport models; perform sensitivity, uncertainty, and predictive analyses; and compile and manage spatial and subsurface data for Conceptual Site Model development. The role also supports regulatory permitting, water-supply applications, managed aquifer recharge and aquifer storage and recovery projects, aquifer testing, technical deliverables, and project management activities. Matrix's Arizona offices work across groundwater flow and transport modeling, water resources, water system engineering, permitting, environmental assessment and remediation, site characterization, drilling programs, and GIS. Full company benefits are offered, with details to be provided during interviews.
