About The Position

Part-time, Seasonal Groundsperson for an Apartment Complex, 20 hours per week, Monday-Friday 8AM-12PM - Seasonal Position September thru March. Maintains public and common areas of property in a clean, neat and attractive condition.

Requirements

• Must have prior general grounds experience and basic mechanical aptitude.
• Must be reliable, dedicated, and trustworthy.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• A Valid driver's license and dependable transportation is required.

Responsibilities

• Weeding, Cleanup of branches and leaves
• Shoveling/Salting in the winter months. Extended working hours should be anticipated to meet seasonal issues.
• Small amount of furniture and appliance moving as necessary
• Clean areas around Dumpsters and in Basements
• Pulling/removing old carpets and sweeping after
• Understand MSDS sheets and safe work practices
• Comply with OSHA, EPA, and DEC requirements
• Other duties as assigned
