About The Position

SavATree’s General Tree Care team works together to maintain and preserve the health of clients’ landscapes. As a General Tree Care Groundsperson, you will be part of a crew providing high-quality tree care, including pruning, removals, cable bracing, and other services. You will operate equipment safely, complete assigned tasks efficiently, and provide exceptional client service while working outdoors and collaborating with tree care professionals.

Requirements

• Demonstrated knowledge of the proper use of General Tree Care equipment.
• Previous landscaping experience, including safe lifting techniques and proper procedures for carrying and stacking brush on client properties.
• Knowledge of two to three basic knots, as well as the Weaver Knot, Clove Hitch Knot, and Gilhooligan Knot.
• Experience using pruning equipment such as hand snips, pruners, and pole saws.
• Willingness to complete required training to obtain needed certifications and licenses.
• Desire to work outdoors.
• Valid driver’s license to operate service-line vehicles.
• Must be authorized to work lawfully in the U.S.
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of common tree identification.
• CDL.
