Tree Groundsperson
About The Position
Tree Tech Inc. is looking to hire skilled and safety-conscious groundskeepers to join their team. Tree Tech Inc. was founded in 1986 and has since developed into a well-known and respected company throughout eastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island. They are looking to expand their current team of stellar employees to provide quality tree and shrub services to residential, commercial, and utility properties in the area. Their crews work outside on beautiful properties, year-round. They pride themselves on their top-notch safety practices and policies, as well as their accreditations by the Tree Care Industry Association, their many Certified Arborists on staff, their State-of-the-Art equipment, and their on-the-job training programs. Their facility is conveniently located just off of Routes 95 and 140 in Foxboro.
Requirements
- Strong commitment to safety
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Chainsaw: 1 year (Required)
- Groundskeeping: 1 year (Required)
Nice To Haves
- Experience in tree care or related field (preferred)
- Ability to operate and maintain equipment (preferred)
- Tree care: 1 year (Preferred)
- Tree trimming: 1 year (Preferred)
- Utility experience (Preferred)
Responsibilities
- Assist tree climbers in the removal of trees and trimming of branches
- Operate and maintain equipment such as chainsaws, chippers, and stump grinders
- Perform general maintenance of trees and shrubs, including pruning and fertilizing
- Ensure safety procedures are followed at all times
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients
- Perform other duties as assigned
