About The Position

R. J. Corman Railroad Services is currently seeking a Groundsman/Laborer to join our team in Columbus, OH. This role involves performing laborer and groundsman duties, practicing safe working habits, and ensuring proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is used. The position requires maintaining equipment safely and comfort working outdoors in all weather conditions. Effective communication with the team and supervisor throughout the job process is essential.

Requirements

• Must pass background, drug screen, and physical capacity test.
• Mobility to participate in frequent travel and be on call 24/7 to respond to emergencies.
• Requires lifting of up to 100 lbs. in the performance of duties.
• Frequent travel required.
• Must live within 45 minutes of the R. J. Corman shop.
• Be comfortable working outside in all weather conditions.
• On-call 24/7 to respond to emergencies.
