Requirements
- No formal education required.
- Ability to operate various types of power equipment including lawnmowers, trimmers, hedge trimmers, leaf blowers, and other landscaping equipment.
- Ability to use hand tools required for landscaping.
- Ability to follow instructions and complete assignments.
- Knowledge of landscaping techniques and processes.
- Excellent time management skills.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in similar role/landscaping preferred.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the daily inspection and overall upkeep and maintenance of hotel building and grounds.
- Clean & care for buildings, facilities, and exterior of property to ensure they are maintained in a safe, clean and neat condition.
- Perform a range of landscaping operations that may include using garden and landscaping equipment for mowing, painting, pruning, trimming, installation of plant material, care of flowers and bedding plants.
- Repair damaged grounds areas.
- Notify management of any repairs needed (lighting, public areas, parking lot, etc.).
- Spread fertilizers, herbicides, or insecticides onto grass, shrubs, and trees.
- Assist with performing minor electrical and mechanical repairs.
- Empty all common area waste baskets and keep receptacles clean.
- Attend safety meetings & other related meetings.
- Respond to guest requests and questions and report guest issues and complaints in a hospitable manner to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Responsible for the care, maintenance and inventory of all supplies and equipment owned by the property.
- Other duties as assigned.
