About The Position
We are seeking a Groundskeeper to help create a welcoming and positive first impression of our community by keeping outdoor spaces clean, safe, and well maintained. This role supports the day‑to‑day appearance and upkeep of the grounds, walkways, gardens, entryways, and shared outdoor areas.
Requirements
- High school or equivalent
- Familiar with operations and maintenance, knowledge of basic tools and grounds-keeping equipment
- Good verbal communication skills
- Able to follow directions
Responsibilities
- Routine grounds care such as debris and leaf removal
- Trash and recycling support
- Maintaining the condition of outdoor furniture and common areas
- Pressure washing on a regular schedule
- Watering plants as assigned
- Inspecting and maintaining hoses and outdoor equipment
- Assisting the Building Services team as needed
- Clear debris, remove trash and maintain grounds and walkways in safe condition
- Leaf blowing and removal
- Emptying the trash cans and recycling pickup, and helping to clear and maintain the trash rooms
- Arrange, clean and maintain the condition of the outdoor furniture
- Pressure wash areas on a regularly scheduled basis
- Water plants as assigned
- Clean and maintain the condition of entry ways, patio areas, outdoor lighting and other areas as assigned
- Inspect and maintain the condition of the watering hoses
- Remove snow and ice as required during inclement weather conditions
- Assist Building Services team as needed and directed
