About The Position

This is a part-time, non-exempt position in the Maintenance Department at the Hegins Manufacturing Plant. The General Purpose of this role is to safely and efficiently take care of the campus grounds and perform light campus facility maintenance. The position is for the Day Shift, Monday through Friday, with a pay rate of $18.50 per hour. Applicants must be between 16 and 18 years of age.

Requirements

• Ability to read and comprehend basic work instructions, standard procedures, etc.
• Ability to work in weather elements and conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a frequent basis.
• Capability to stand and move frequently.
• Possess a collaborative, team-driven attitude.
• A good attendance record and a team mindset is critical.
• Be precision-driven, and able to comply with all quality and safety requirements.
• Must be over 16 years of age but under 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Inside and outside painting.
• Pick up debris all around the internal/external area of both buildings.
• Sweep and maintain the back isles.
• Run the powered floor scrubber in both buildings.
• Check and maintain entrance areas.
• Maintain housekeeping in both buildings as needed.
• Maintain housekeeping in both conference rooms as needed.
• General duties as needed.
