About The Position

Responsible for maintaining Little River Casino Resort grounds and equipment. Assist and do what you and your department can to create a fun, exciting entertainment experience for our guests and engaging, inclusive, supportive work environment for our team members.

Requirements

  • Experience operating a variety of motor vehicles including automatic and manual transmissions, diesel as well as gas engines
  • Proven mechanical aptitude; by work experience troubleshooting mechanical issues as it relates to motor vehicles and equipment
  • Valid Driver's License and be insurable on Company's Policy throughout employment
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Basic organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Basic professional telephone etiquette
  • Basic problem-solving skills
  • Guest service, interpersonal and teamwork skills necessary to maintain quality service delivery
  • Accurate and detail-oriented
  • Maintain high confidentiality

Responsibilities

  • Safely operates power and moving equipment utilizing proper safety equipment according to Occupational Safety Health Administration (OSHA) and the Little River Casino Resort's policy.
  • Pulls weeds and removes debris from landscaping/parking lots.
  • Maintains plants, trees, shrubs, and bushes.
  • Rakes and shovels by hand.
  • Operates snow-blowing equipment.
  • Maintains irrigation equipment.
  • Monitors activities on casino property and notifies security if necessary.
  • Assists Maintenance Technicians when needed and will perform maintenance duties when needed.
  • Performs routine maintenance on equipment.
  • Paints the property when needed.
  • Utilizes, stores, and disposes of hazardous materials according to OSHA standards.
  • Must satisfactorily complete all training assigned by the Resort.
  • Must adhere to the safety rules and regulations of the Little River Casino Resort and of the Facilities department.
  • Must be aware of and adhere to the emergency and evacuation procedures.
  • Must be aware of and adhere to the Resorts Health & Safety Program.
