About The Position

Provides janitorial support to the property, ensuring common areas, the office, and vacant units are clean and ready. The role also involves maintaining the grounds, picking up trash, and assisting with property upkeep and resident events. This position requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to identify and address property maintenance needs.

Responsibilities

  • Cleans all common areas daily (gym, bathrooms, pool area, clubhouse).
  • Ensures office is cleaned and ready for the office team.
  • Freshens up vacant units prior to move-in, detailed.
  • Assists with opening of leasing office, puts out signage.
  • De-webbing on a regular basis.
  • Ensures grounds are well kept at all times.
  • Picks up trash throughout the day, sweeps and blows common areas, and pressure washes areas as needed.
  • Keeps dumpster areas free of trash daily.
  • Ensures property is always "inspection ready".
  • Provides excellent customer service to residents.
  • Builds and maintains positive relationships with all customers.
  • Assists residents with requests, directing them to the office when possible.
  • Participates on Resident Events as necessary.
  • Delivers notices (newsletter, event notice, conservice, etc.).
  • Keeps manager apprised of property issues.
  • Notifies manager of vandalism, graffiti on property and corrects, landscape deficiencies.
  • Notifies manager of needs for maintenance on property (trash areas, graffiti, vandalism, light issues).
  • Assists maintenance team when able.
  • When time allows, helps with work orders, projects, etc.
  • Completes property "projects" throughout the year as needed.
  • Understands the importance of property maintenance and identifies and assists with annual projects.
