Groundskeeper (Multi-Site) - Preserve at Shady Oak & Bren Road Station
About The Position
Dominium is seeking a motivated Groundskeeper to join their team at Preserve at Shady Oak & Bren Road Station, two apartment communities in Minnetonka, MN. The Groundskeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and appearance of the property, including daily trash removal, landscaping, snow/ice removal, and common area maintenance. This role also involves using a digital device for work orders and inspections, ensuring a safe work environment, and complying with Fair Housing laws. The position requires professional conduct, attendance at meetings, and performing other assigned duties.
Requirements
- Ability to communicate in English orally and understand written and oral instructions.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
- May require a valid driver’s license, ability to drive a motor vehicle, mini-truck, under-speed vehicles (USV) and utility vehicles (UTV) and auto insurance depending on the property.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the cleanliness, safety, and appearance of the property.
- Perform daily trash removal from all exterior areas.
- Clean around dumpsters.
- Perform landscaping tasks including raking, mulching, weeding, and watering.
- Perform snow and ice removal according to policy.
- Maintain common areas by emptying trash, cleaning fixtures, carpets, and laundry rooms.
- Replenish supplies in common areas.
- Use a digital device to manage work orders, inspections, and documentation.
- Ensure a safe work environment and report hazards.
- Comply with Fair Housing laws.
- Maintain professional conduct and attend meetings.
- Assist staff as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
