About The Position

This position is primarily responsible for maintaining grounds across VMRC's campus as well as maintaining equipment in a safe and well-cared-for condition.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Three months experience in groundskeeping field preferred
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Ability to perform strenuous physical tasks
Ability to work in all types of weather
Experience with equipment and tractor implements
Must possess a current Virginia driver’s license with a clean driving record
Able to drive manual transmission vehicles/equipment
Ability to obtain authorization on the VMRC Approved Drivers List
Ability to understand and carry out oral and written assignments in the English language
Self-motivated with ability to perform the duties listed in the job description with limited supervision
Able to schedule time wisely and accommodate changes
Strong work ethic
