About The Position

Gaines Investment Trust is seeking a dependable and hardworking Groundskeeper to support one of our apartment communities in Lawrence, Kansas. As a Groundskeeper, you'll play an important role in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents and guests. Requirements

Previous groundskeeping, janitorial, landscaping, or related experience preferred
Valid driver's license (required)
Reliable transportation (required)
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Ability to perform physical work, including walking, lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
Strong work ethic with dependable attendance
Attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean community
Positive attitude and willingness to support the team wherever needed
Ability to work independently while following direction

Responsibilities

Maintain the cleanliness and overall appearance of the apartment community
Pick up trash and debris throughout the property
Clean and maintain common areas to company standards
Perform general groundskeeping duties, including pressure washing
Assist in maintaining excellent curb appeal throughout the community
Identify and report maintenance concerns or safety hazards promptly
Work closely with the maintenance team to support daily property operations
Deliver outstanding customer service while interacting with residents and guests
Help create a community residents are proud to call home
