About The Position

This position is responsible for the upkeep of the exterior grounds of the property. The role ensures adherence to company guidelines and aims to achieve excellent resident satisfaction. The groundskeeper will also accompany pre-designated office hours at the community location to ensure community operations are functioning effectively.

Requirements

• Ability to follow direction.
• Flexibility with work assignment.
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
• Frequent standing and walking, as well as occasional sitting.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 110 pounds.
• Occasional squatting, reaching, stooping, climbing stairs/ladders, and balancing.
• If driving for company business: must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record with company insurance carrier.
• If driving for company business: must have reliable means of transportation.
• If driving for company business: must provide proof of personal auto liability insurance when using vehicles for company business.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience.
• Pool certification, if appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Keep the property in a neat, clean, and well-maintained condition.
• Perform daily exterior inspections of the community to assure cleanliness and a high degree of "curb appeal".
• Complete daily chemical inspections, maintenance, and cleaning of the pool to meet city codes and company standards.
• Ensure that the resident property meets and exceeds company standards for resident satisfaction.
• Be available for on-call emergencies per the Community Manager's request.
• Assist maintenance personnel in performing light maintenance as requested by the Community Manager.
• Perform other duties as needed.
• Cross-utilization with maintenance duties may be required.
