Part-Time Groundskeeper
About The Position
West Coast Self-Storage is looking for a part-time groundskeeper to work across properties in Palmdale, CA, and Adelanto, CA. The Groundskeeper will collaborate with the District Manager and store teams to ensure the upkeep and appearance of West Coast Self-Storage properties, meeting clean and operational standards. This role involves performing various landscaping and maintenance duties for multiple properties to keep them functional, clean, and free from debris. This is an outdoor and labor-intensive job that requires the use of tools, hardware, and chemicals to complete assigned tasks.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (required)
- Grounds keeping or maintenance experience (required)
- Experience with utilizing hand and power tools (requires)
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed
- Ability to work outdoors in urban and rural environments
- Ability to self-manage while working independently to complete team and company objectives
Responsibilities
- Learns skills necessary to complete the job
- Communicates project status and follow-up dates on schedule to DM (District Manager)
- Maintains facility grounds (landscaping, parking areas, etc.)
- Maintains facility systems (lights, gates, security systems, etc.)
- Maintains facility structures (fences, doors, etc.)
