About The Position

This position is responsible for performing a wide variety of skilled and semi-skilled building maintenance and repairs, and landscaping tasks, while maintaining a safe work environment, and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Responsible for keeping trash and other debris picked up on the exterior of the processing plant. Primary tasks of position are to inspect for trash on the ground outside the processing plant, including parking lots, picking up as identified and placing into either a dump cart or dumpster. This will require walking all day through out shift, bending and lifting as required. Smaller pieces of trash may be picked up with hand tool provided to eliminate bending. Responsible for emptying trash containers located outside of plant. Other responsibilities include throwing salt out when there is freezing precipitation. The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Not eligible for hire if terminated 3x or more.
