About The Position

Lake Austin Spa Resort, nestled along the shores of scenic Lake Austin in the beautiful Texas Hill Country, offers guests the sanctuary of an award-winning spa and the warmth of a best friend's lake house. The resort provides all-inclusive vacation packages, including accommodations in one of 40 charming lakeside guest rooms across 12 landscaped grounds, three gourmet meals daily, indoor and outdoor fitness activities and classes, and a selection of more than 100 spa and body treatments in the 25,000-square foot spa. This position is a full-time role contributing to the tranquil surroundings and exceptional service provided to guests.

Requirements

Able to do physical labor and lift heavy objects up to 50 pounds.
Able to work with minimal supervision.
Able to use hand and electrical tools associated with landscaping work in a safe and effective manner.
Able to work outdoors in all kinds of weather.
Regular attendance is essential.
Must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance.

Responsibilities

Plants, waters, cultivates, fertilizes, and weeds gardens.
Mows and weed eats lawn as needed.
Applies pesticides and herbicides as directed.
Digs ditches, holes, and trenches for planting, irrigation, electrical and plumbing needs.
Cleans up trash on grounds and transfers trash and recycling from storage areas and cans to the dumpsters daily.
Performs basic tree and shrub trimming as directed.
Assists with or performs irrigation work as needed.
Cares for and moves outdoor container plants as needed.
Remains overnight in inclement weather as required to assist with the removal of ice from walkways and other work as required.
Assists other departments with moving furniture, boxes, and equipment as requested.
Other duties as assigned.
