About The Position

The Groundskeeper is responsible for maintaining the hotel grounds at a level that exceeds guests expectations.

Requirements

• Prior experience in grounds maintenance preferred and its related equipment and irrigation systems
• Use of hand tools
• Must be capable of safely operating a sweeping machine

Responsibilities

• Mowing of the lawns and string trim work
• Pruning of hedges and trees
• Watering of plants and lawns
• The ability to lift 50 lbs multiple times on a regular basis
• Tend to the picking up of trash
• Mulching of flower beds
• Pulling weeds from a kneeling position in flowering beds
• Planting of flowers from a kneeling position
• Running edger to edge beds and sidewalks
• Be able to work outside in all weather
• Daily tasks as dictated by the hotel grounds foreman or golf course superintendent
• Perform any other job related duties as assigned.
