About The Position
The Groundskeeper is responsible for maintaining the health, vitality, and appearance of all shrubs, trees, and ornamental plants. This role also involves maintaining and repairing sprinklers and waterlines, grooming flower beds, and assisting laborers with large jobs. The position requires adherence to attendance guidelines and company policies.
Requirements
- Must have high school diploma or GED.
- Must possess a valid Louisiana driver’s license.
- Must be able to get along well with co-workers and work as a team player.
- Must possess excellent customer service skill.
- Must be able to work any day, any shift.
- Must have at least two years previous experience in landscaping or gardening with appropriate certification.
Responsibilities
- Maintain health, vitality and appearance of all shrubs, trees and ornamental plants.
- Maintain and repair all sprinklers and waterlines associated with above areas.
- Groom all flower beds and exposes soil on a daily basis.
- Assist laborers, when needed, with large jobs.
- Meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to departmental and company policies.
