About The Position

Friendship Village is seeking a Full Time Groundskeeper to work with our Maintenance team preforming general grounds maintenance and some maintenance and upkeep on buildings and apartments for our senior residents. As a Groundskeeper you will be responsible for tree trimming, lawn care, snow removal, other landscaping duties and general building maintenance.

Requirements

• Prior grounds keeping experience required
• Able to safely operate landscaping equipment without restrictions
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Residents, Staff and Guests
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Work involves moderate to heavy work in all types of weather
• Frequent need to stand, stop, walk, lift heavy objects (up to 100 pounds) and perform other similar actions during the course of the workday
