About The Position
Rookwood Properties is seeking a Part-Time Groundskeeper for Edgar Apartments (fka - Lytle Tower) in Cincinnati, OH. This role is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of the property, playing an important part in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and staff. The position is 20 hours per week with a salary of $18-$18.5/hour.
Requirements
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and maintain focus on safety.
- Ability to work independently and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
- Dependable and punctual, with strong attention to detail.
- Must be able to interact respectfully and professionally with residents and staff.
- Physical ability to lift and carry moderate weights and to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- Satisfactory background and MVR checks are required as a condition of employment.
Responsibilities
- Clean grounds and remove litter daily.
- Perform general upkeep of property grounds.
- Collect and properly dispose of trash and debris.
- Maintain walkways, parking areas, and common outdoor spaces in clean and safe conditions.
- Report any safety hazards, damage, or maintenance concerns to the Property Manager.
- Work cooperatively with residents, co-workers, and supervisors.
