Groundskeeper - Facilities & Maintenance
About The Position
Under the direction of the Facilities Shift Supervisor, the incumbent will be responsible for servicing guest and non-guest areas of the facilities. This role requires adherence to the Seminole Tribe's Policies and Procedures and involves tasks such as pressure washing patios, awnings, pool decks, and pool furniture. The position also includes general cleaning of mechanical and equipment rooms, parking lot trash cleanup (including lakes, ponds, and rooftops), and maintaining a clean, safe, and hazard-free work environment. The Groundskeeper will also be responsible for filling out maintenance request forms upon task completion and promoting positive public/employee relations.
Requirements
- Must adhere to the Seminole Tribe's Policies and Procedures.
- Knowledge of Seminole Casino Coconut Creek’s policies, procedures and schedules to insure minimal interruption to business operations and to prioritize projects appropriately.
- Promotes positive public/employee relations at all times.
- Must possess excellent hand/eye coordination as well as close vision.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Prolonged period of walking, reaching, climbing and moving/carrying weight of up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities
- Pressure washing patios, awnings, pool decks, and pool furniture.
- Fills out maintenance request forms when task is complete and turns them in to the Maintenance Shift Supervisor.
- General cleaning of all Mechanical and equipment rooms.
- Parking lot trash clean up and detail to include lakes and ponds and roof tops.
- Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.
- Performs all other related and compatible/non-compatible duties as assigned.
