About The Position

The Groundskeeper is responsible for the overall cleanliness and curb appeal of the community, including grounds, amenities, building exteriors, leasing office, parking lots, and other common areas. This role works closely with the Maintenance Supervisor in completing tasks that ensure the community meets appearance and operational standards. The position also assists in the preparation of vacant apartments for move-in and completing resident service requests. Additionally, the Groundskeeper participates in a rotating on-call schedule and responds to after-hours maintenance emergencies. This role offers a great opportunity for someone interested in growing their career and advancing into the maintenance side of the business, with the chance to learn and assist with basic maintenance responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Maintenance Supervisor in completing tasks that ensure the community meets appearance and operational standards.
• Responsible for the overall cleanliness and curb appeal of the community, including grounds, amenities, building exteriors, leasing office, parking lots, and other common areas.
• Assist in the preparation of vacant apartments for move-in by new residents and in completing resident service requests as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Participate in the rotating on-call schedule and respond to after-hours maintenance emergencies as requested.
• Be willing to learn and assist with basic maintenance responsibilities, providing an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and advance into a Maintenance Technician role.
