About The Position
Groundskeepers play an important role in keeping our apartment communities clean, attractive, and welcoming for residents, prospective residents, and visitors. This is a hands-on position for someone who takes pride in maintaining the appearance of the community and enjoys staying active throughout the workday. Nice To Haves
- Previous groundskeeping, landscaping, maintenance, construction, janitorial, or similar hands-on experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of community grounds and common areas
- Picking up litter and debris throughout the property
- Keeping sidewalks, parking areas, breezeways, and other exterior areas clean
- Assisting with basic landscaping and grounds maintenance
- Maintaining pool and recreational areas
- Cleaning and preparing common areas for residents and prospective residents
- Assisting the maintenance team with projects and apartment turns as needed
- Identifying and reporting maintenance or safety concerns
- Helping ensure the community remains clean, attractive, and well-maintained
- Performing physically active work outdoors in varying weather conditions
