About The Position

Maintain the cleanliness, safety, and aesthetic appearance of the resort and villas grounds areas by performing a diverse range of activities involved in grounds maintenance. This role involves delivering "I Am Proud" service standards and department-specific signature touch points, establishing cross-departmental communication, and embracing wellness and STRATA virtues. The position upholds the Garden of the Gods Resort and Club's brand, culture, vision, mission, and values, empowering team members to resolve issues and provide a positive guest experience.

Requirements

  • Requires basic employment skills in clerical, service or manual areas.
  • Valid Driver's License.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous grounds maintenance experience valued but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Mowing, trimming, and blowing of all turf areas around the resort.
  • Planting, weeding, and mulching all flower beds around the resort.
  • Sweeping or blowing roadside, walkways, parking lots, and tennis courts.
  • Edging of walkways, flowerbeds, and curbs throughout the property.
  • Operating and maintaining utility vehicles and equipment, following standards and safety guidelines.
  • Delivering "I Am Proud" service standards and department-specific signature touch points.
  • Establishing cross-departmental channels of communication among teammates that are consistent and complete.
  • Power washing all hardscape areas.
  • Assisting with irrigation system repairs and maintenance.
  • Daily shop upkeep and cleanliness.
  • Performing any other such duties, as assigned.
  • Greeting every guest, member, and team member with "I Am Proud" standards and setting a positive tone for every interaction.
  • Providing extraordinary service that is "Enriching by Nature."
  • Embracing, embodying, demonstrating, and encouraging wellness and the STRATA virtues through interactions, performance, and commitments.

  • Performing other duties as assigned.
