About The Position

Gaines Investment Trust is seeking a dependable, hardworking Groundskeeper to join our team at Silverado Apartments in Frisco, Texas. The Groundskeeper plays an important role in creating a community residents are proud to call home. You’ll help keep the property clean, attractive, and well maintained while supporting the maintenance team with day-to-day property needs. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in seeing the results of their work, and wants to build a career in property maintenance.

Requirements

• Ability and willingness to work outdoors and perform physically active work
• Ability to safely use basic groundskeeping tools and equipment
• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean, attractive property

• Ability to follow instructions and complete assigned tasks independently

• Positive and professional approach when interacting with residents and coworkers

Nice To Haves

• Previous groundskeeping, landscaping, property maintenance, or similar experience preferred, but not required
• Interest in learning additional property maintenance skills

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and overall appearance of the community’s grounds and common areas
• Pick up litter and debris throughout the property
• Keep breezeways, sidewalks, parking areas, entrances, and common areas clean
• Maintain pool areas, amenities, and other outdoor spaces
• Empty property trash receptacles and keep dumpster areas clean and organized
• Assist with basic landscaping and grounds maintenance as needed
• Identify and report maintenance, safety, or property concerns
• Assist the maintenance team with apartment turns and property projects as needed
• Help keep maintenance shops, storage areas, and workspaces clean and organized
• Follow company safety procedures and community standards
• Provide courteous and professional service when interacting with residents and team members
