About The Position

The Groundskeeper position is responsible for the overall maintenance and care of the grounds, parking areas, and common area facilities to ensure they are always clean and orderly. This role operates on a Tuesday through Saturday schedule and reports to the Community Manager and/or Maintenance Supervisor.

Requirements

• Ability to clean and polish lighting fixtures, surfaces, and trim.
• Ability to clean various interior spaces including rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and locker rooms.
• Proficiency in sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing floors.
• Skill in cleaning rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.
• Capability to dust furniture and equipment.
• Ability to polish metalwork.
• Competence in washing walls, ceilings, and woodwork.
• Skill in washing windows, door panels, and sills.
• Ability to empty wastebaskets and clean ashtrays.
• Capacity to transport trash and waste to the disposal area.
• Ability to replenish bathroom supplies.
• Skill in replacing light bulbs.
• Ability to cut and trim grass and shovel snow.
• Capability to deliver messages.
• Ability to transport small equipment or tools between departments.
• Willingness to attend and participate in regular meetings and training, as assigned.

Responsibilities
