About The Position

Tesoro Group is seeking an experienced Groundskeeper to join one of their client’s team at two of their properties in Edina, MN. This role is contract to hire, with a 90-day conversion period. The Groundskeeper performs routine upkeep of the apartment community, including buildings, amenities, and surrounding areas, ensuring a welcoming impression for residents, guests, and team members on-site. The role requires maintaining the community's curb appeal while communicating effectively and professionally. Assigned tasks are expected to be completed in a timely manner and will likely require operating tools and equipment in accordance with safety and operations standards.

Requirements

A minimum of 1 years’ experience within a porter or groundskeeping role – residential multi-family experience is highly preferred.
Light maintenance experience – lock changing, shoveling, salting, picking up trash, replacing lightbulbs, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, helping with unit turns and other duties as assigned.
Reliable and punctual.
Hospitality set mind-set when working with the residents.
Hold a valid Driver’s License and active vehicle insurance.
Be able to pass a background check prior to employment.

Residential multi-family experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Responsible for meticulous upkeep and trash removal of grounds, amenities, building exteriors, leasing office, parking lots, and community common areas.
Assist in the cleaning and preparation of units including trash removal from vacant apartments.
Complete weather preparation and clean up as needed.
Organize, maintain, and utilize provided supplies in a cost-effective manner.
Present an appearance appropriate to the image of the company.
Complete additional tasks or duties assigned by community leadership.
