About The Position

UDC is seeking a dependable Groundskeeper/Porter to help keep its community clean, safe, and well-maintained. The role supports the maintenance team with daily upkeep, light repairs, and unit turns while helping create a positive environment for residents. The position involves outdoor work in various weather conditions and assisting with general daily tasks and special projects.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness of community grounds, amenities, and common areas.
• Pick up trash, debris, and pet waste daily.
• Assist with make-ready tasks for vacant units, including cleaning, painting, and minor repairs.
• Complete minor maintenance tasks and assigned service requests.
• Support preventative maintenance efforts across the property.
• Maintain pool areas through skimming, basic chemical checks, and general upkeep.
• Replace light bulbs and air filters and perform other basic maintenance tasks.
• Assist with light plumbing and electrical work under supervision.
• Monitor the community for safety hazards and promptly report issues.
• Keep maintenance shops, storage areas, and equipment clean and organized.
• Distribute notices to residents as needed.
• Support the team with general daily tasks and special projects.
